If your beard is patchy or you have beard alopecia the Root stimulation oil is what you need for working on the patches- A Derma-roller is also recommended for this. If you have long, thick beard hair or Afro hair, The Strengthening oil is what we recommend. This blend is longer lasting and not only strengthens hair from the roots, encourages growth and slowly helps to fill in patches. It also locks in moisture for a much longer time on curly hair than our Moisturising oil blend . If you have fine beard hair, short beard hair or you just need something for all day moisture, the Moisturising oil blend is what you need. Our Moisturising oil blend tackles beard dandruff, beard itch, redness from shaving and is great on acne prone skin. This simple blend of high-quality organic oils imitates the natural oil (sebum) our skin produces, so it generally works seamlessly for our customers. If you have dyed your hair, have a lot of split ends on your hair or beard or it is extremely dry, the Repairing oil blend is what we recommend. The Repairing oil is closer to a serum in thickness. It also contains plant Keratin, so it seals in gaps of damaged hair, making it feel softer and smoother, as well as giving added protection from the elements and pollution.
Whilst many customers use the oil daily and have reported fantastic results. It is important to remember that oil will not penetrate a scalp that has hair product build up or dead skin/dandruff, so it will work best on a clean scalp.
In the evening after your bath or shower or after washing your hair. This is when your pores are most open from the steam and scalp massage.
Within 6-8 weeks of consistent use, for the average person. Expect to see lots of new growth (baby hair). Thicker more lustrous feeling roots.
It depends, if you are trying to fill in bald patches it can help by increasing the absorption of the oil by up to 90%.
Yes, it is recommended to keep bacteria from building up on your Dermaroller.
There are 4 main types of Alopecia- Alopecia areata, Persistant patchy Alopecia areata, Alopecia totalis and Alopecia universalis. Our Root stimulation oil has proven to be effective against Alopecia Areata and Persistant patchy Alopecia areata with consistent use.
Yes, it has been proven to be very effective on beard patches. Though if your beard is thin because it is just starting to grow in because you are young, let it come in naturally. A great beard should not be rushed, and genetics will affect how quickly or long your hair grows.
• Step 1: Before and after use, make sure your roller is disinfected using an alcohol spray or gel-https://www.thealchemyremedy.co.uk/collections/accessories/products/sanitiser-spray-30ml • Step 2: Do not force the roller into the skin use mild or natural hand pressure pressure. • Step 3: Roll back and forth at the same intensity on the treatment area 5-10 times in each of the four directions - horizontally, vertically, and diagonally. • Step 4: Following treatment, apply your regular skin care, oils, serums, or post-rolling care solutions such as soothing masks or aloe vera gel.
Keep your Body Butter out of sunlight, away from radiators/heat sources and fluctuating temperatures, as this will change the consistency of the butter. It is expected that it will be softer in warmer temperatures and firmer in cooler temperatures. If you live somewhere consistently hot (above (27 degrees Celcius) you can keep it refrigerated to preserve the texture.

Our body butter is strictly oil and Shea butter & Mango butter based, or Cocoa Butter depending on your chosen option, meaning its rich, thick and a small amount goes a long way. Our butters are also 100% organic, whist many others are 20-60%. Many of our competitors use a cream or lotion base to preserve the shelf life of the product, but we feel this reduces the effect that the oils have on healing skin. You would also need to use much of those kinds of butters for dry skin. Our butters last up to 2 years if unopened and stored correctly. Please see our blog post about Butter Vs Cream for more information.
We generally recommend, our Cocoa butter for very dry skin, but all the butters are great for this issue. Use on damp skin to lock in extra moisture and speed up absorption of. the butter into skin.
Yes you can. Use the body butter on damp skin to speed up absorption. If you're using a butter to replace a perfume, only use it on the areas of exposed skin like you would use a perfume oil. We also recommend using one of our body creams in place of a butter if your skin really doesn't absorb oil well.
